In a new interview with Australian radio network Nova, Charlie Sheen reveals the secrets behind his Tweets.
“I write every word, then I send it off to Bob Maron, my Tweet master,” he said, adding that Maron is his “safety valve.”
“I get a little passionate at times,” explains Sheen, who now has 2.5 million Twitter followers since launching his account March 1. “I’ll be like, ‘I’ll show them!’ Send! And then I’m like, ‘Oh no…’ And its gone.”
Sheen also has been Tweeting endorsements: He scores somewhere in six-figure range for an Internships.com message.
The actor, who filed a $100 million lawsuit against Warner Bros. Television and Two and a Half Men co-creator Chuck Lorre, also briefly talked about his deal with Live Nation, which not only includes a tour (tickets are $35 a pop) but also merchandising “all this intellectual property,” he said. “Tiger blood, winning, Adonis DNA, all that stuff.”
He didn’t provide other details on what the products would be, but official T-shirts and mugs are expected to hit shelves.
“Admit it folks, the whole winning thing, you just feel better when you say it,” Sheen later added of one of his favorite catchphrases. “It’s true, and you have to kind of smile when you say it.”
