Charlie Sheen has a new war – and it has nothing to do with Two and a Half Men.
He is now fighting to get his nearly 2-year-old twin sons to return to his L.A. home.
On Tuesday, authorities took the boys from him and put them in the care of their mother, Brooke Mueller.
According to a court filing Tuesday, Mueller said Sheen, 45, told her in a phone call Sunday night, “I will cut your head off, put it in a box and send it to your mom!” The Associated Press reports that she also claimed that Sheen threatened to stab her in the eye with a pen, and that he spit on her feet and punched her on the arm during a recent trip to the Bahamas. “I am in great fear that he will find me and attack me and I am in great fear for the children’s safety while in his care,” Mueller wrote.
Sheen now must stay 100 yards away from Mueller and their sons, Max and Bob.
But on NBC’s Today show Wednesday, Sheen (who said he doesn’t know where his kids are) denied making those remarks to Mueller and delivered her the following message: “Brooke, I’m sorry you felt this had to be done in this way, but this does not display any responsible parenting that I’m familiar with. I think that cooler and smarter, leveler heads can prevail, and I urge you to reach out to me, immediately if not sooner, and tell me where our sons are.”
Sheen said his main task now is “bringing these two beautiful young men back to the home that they deserve to be raised in.”
