Is Charlie Sheen looking for forgiveness from Chuck Lorre — or another job?
On Sunday, the actor — whom Lorre fired from his CBS comedy Two and a Half Men two years ago — sent out a tweet to his former boss, saying he wants to “make amends” and has an “idea” to run past him.

The tweet included a photo of the show’s 2007 People’s Choice Award for favorite TV comedy.
hey Chuck. I have an idea that u need to hear after I make amends to you and yours. which I will do in person. xox c http://t.co/LyIh338Zzf

For the record, Lorre does not have a Twitter account. The Hollywood Reporter has reached out to Warner Bros. for comment.
Sheen, who now stars on Anger Management for FX, was fired from Men in 2011 after publicly insulting Lorre and his other bosses on the CBS/Warner Bros. TV comedy. He objected to his firing and later included Lorre as a defendant in a multimillion-dollar lawsuit.
Sheen’s mea culpa comes just days after he violated a gag order issued during his ongoing child custody case with ex-wife Brooke Mueller. After being told by a judge last week that he couldn’t talk about the case, he hit Twitter on Friday night in a series of rants that included his calling the judge “anus-brain”:
so lemme see if I got this straight.? my twin boys are now in harms way and in grave danger.? being “raised” by a gaggle ?of incompetent and lascivious ?marionettes all ruled and fooled by an adderol snorting?husk called Brooke.?? and guess what CPS and ?”I’m Italian” judge anus-brain,? you may have gagged me temporarily, but mark my unspoken words,? anything happens to my boys,? and you will know get to know me,? know who I truly am, ?a loving father. … and if this means being jailed? for loving and trying to protect my children,? then go for it.? I have as many friends on ?the inside as i do out here.? my passion WILL NOT be silenced.? you are all now standing in my way.? I’d recommend a shift in ?your geography.?

In June, Anger Management made headlines when Selma Blair, who played Sheen’s love interest, was dismissed from the show by Sheen via a strongly worded text in which he called her a “c-nt,” sources told THR. The two had a falling-out after Blair questioned Sheen’s work ethic on the series, which films two episodes per week and often finds Sheen with more than 40 pages of dialogue per script.
He said her departure was a creative choice, telling Jay Leno in September that the romantic relationship was making his character “a little dull.”
