Charlie Sheen was booed off the stage in Detroit Saturday — much to the dismay of several fans in the audience.
“I think the crowd could have handled themselves better and given him a chance,” fumed one audience member in a USA Today video. Watch above.
Added another, “I enjoyed what I could see. I was so frustrated with the crowd. Ushers wouldn’t do anything.”
A third fan added, “I thought it was good. It was what I expected… talking crazy… I was disappointed with everyone booing him and got mad it was cut short. I got my money’s worth.”
On Sunday, Sheen slightly re-tooled his Torpedoes of Truth show in Chicago, and earned a standing ovation.
Tickets for his New York City show, kicking off April 8, are going on StubHub.com for just $24 — much below the $126 face value.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if prices came down even further,” Stubhub.com spokeswoman Joellen Ferrera told the New York Post. “We could definitely see close to a fire sale.”
Critics largely dismissed Sheen’s show. Wrote The Hollywood Reporter‘s David Rooney: “Call it tiger blood or Adonis DNA if you will. Just don’t call it entertainment.” Read how Sheen can save his 23-date, 20-city road trip.
