Chris Wallace is staying put at Fox News Channel. A new multiyear deal, which comes as little surprise for the veteran anchor, will keep him as anchor and moderator of Fox News Sunday for the foreseeable future.
“Chris is a renowned journalist whose hard-hitting interviews and lifetime of dedication to the news have established him as one of the best in the industry,” said Fox News chairman and CEO Roger Ailes. “We are pleased he will continue his exceptional work on Fox News for years to come.”

Wallace joined FNC in 2003 after 14 years with ABC News. This year marks his 40th anniversary in broadcasting, having first worked in television (at just 16 years old) as Walter Cronkite‘s gofer during the 1964 Republican National Convention.
“It is the high point of my career to work at Fox News,” said Wallace. “I am delighted and grateful for the opportunity Roger Ailes has given me and look forward to many more years of bringing interesting guests and provocative conversations to our audience.”
FNC’s current stable of talent is all locked down for the next few years. In 2013, the network inked multiyear deals with Megyn Kelly, Bret Baier, Shepard Smith, Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity and Greta Van Susteren.
Most recently, America’s Newsroom host Bill Hemmer also inked a new deal.
