Lahti, whose last pilot was CBS’ Beverly Hills Cop, will play Katherine, the sexy, strong, sensitive, witty and tough estranged wife of Terry O’Quinn‘s Charlie. She brings his estranged daughter, Jess, back into the fold of Fisher, Fisher and ?Herrero to lead the team to prove Charlie’s innocence. Devastated by the loss of her son, she refuses to talk about him, even though he is constantly on everyone’s mind. A former litigator herself, Katherine also holds a grudge against Charlie for his affairs over the years.
ER‘s David Zabel will pen the script and exec produce the ABC Studios drama, which will film in Los Angeles. Stephen Cragg will direct the pilot.
Lahti, who has been recurring on CBS’ Hawaii Five-0 alongside O’Quinn, most recently completed the indie feature The Steps with James Brolin and Jason Ritter. She’s repped by ICM Partners and MGMT Entertainment.
