Movie star and sex symbol Bo Derek is the latest in a line of iconic actresses who have signed on to the final season of Chuck. As The Hollywood Reporter first reported, she’ll reveal some startling romantic details on Friday’s episode airing at 8 p.m. on NBC.

“I play myself with a twist,” Derek says in the THR Cover Lounge. “But I have to say, it reminded me of the old days with Blake Edwards and the parts he would write and direct for women, which were iconic, but funny, but physical comedy. So, I really enjoyed that.”
Apparently, Morgan (Josh Gomez) had some side adventures when the Intersect got uploaded to his brain earlier this season and it messed with his mind, and Derek was one of those side adventures. Lucky guy. Of course, they had to reference her sexy turn in 1979’s 10 while they were at it, and Derek says she was game.

“That whole sex symbol thing I never took seriously to begin with,” she says. “Thank goodness or I’d be suffering right now, because it’s out of your hands what happens to you with age. But it was fun making fun of myself.”
In the previews for the episode, Derek greets Morgan with a big kiss. And I had to find out where he ranked in the field of Hollywood leading men the actress has shared romantic story lines with.
“On the kissing … he’s great,” Derek says. “He’s funny. A lot of women say humor trumps anything when it comes to sex appeal. So, he has that in spades. And it was a lot of fun. Ultimately, it was the way it was written and it was hilarious. The whole set-up, the twists, the turns — it was a lot of fun.”
