CNN Commentator Ana Navarro Goes Viral After Repeatedly Quoting Trump’s “P—y” Line On-Air

Republican strategist and commentator Ana Navarro challenged the GOP on Friday night to “disown Donald Trump.”

Responding to the tapes released on Friday in which Trump makes lewd comments about women, Navarro said on CNN, “I think what Donald Trump needs to do is quit. I think he needs to stop being the Republican nominee. He is dragging this entire process down the gutter.” 

Earlier on Friday, a hot mic audiotape of Trump talking about making advances on Entertainment Tonight’s Nancy O’Dell was released online by the Washington Post, and later released in an Access Hollywood segment.

In the audio, Trump and then Access Hollywood co-host Billy Bush were having a lewd conversation about Trump’s advances. “I moved on her, and I failed. I’ll admit it,” Trump can be heard saying about O’Dell, who was Bush’s Access Hollywood co-host at the time. “I did try and f— her. She was married.”

He continues, “I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn’t get there. And she was married.” The resurfaced audio reportedly was recorded when Trump, who was married to Melania Trump at the time, appeared on Access Hollywood to discuss his cameo on the soap opera Days of Our Lives.

In a CNN segment with Don Lemon, Navarro quoted Trump from the video, saying that Republicans should ask themselves how they responded to Trump “boasting about grabbing a woman’s p—y.”

She was referring to Trump’s quote from the audiotape: “You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait.” He then added, “And when you’re a star, they let you do it. Grab them by the p—y. You can do anything.”

Others on the panel asked her to stop “using that word,” which started a brief shouting match, with Navarro countering: “Don’t tell me you’re offended when I say ‘p—y’ but you’re not offended when Donald Trump says it!”

“There is a minimum requirement of morality, of moral compass, of decency, of moral empathy,” she added. “And if you are incapable of meeting that minimum requirement, you can’t even talk to me about policy. … It is time that not only Donald Trump think about what he is doing, but Republicans who have endorsed him, this is the time to disavow this man.”
