Comedian Artie Lange has been hospitalized after going into diabetic shock, he tweeted on Tuesday.
Lange said he’s in a hospital outside of Detroit and apologized for “missing gigs” on his tour.

He added that his road manager is taking care of him.
Lange is best known for his many appearances on The Howard Stern Show and years on MadTV.
He’s also had memorable roles in movies like Lost & Found, The Bachelor and Elf.

He currently hosts The Artie Lange Show on DirecTV.
Lange’s website lists his next tour appearance as taking place on April 19 at Club Nokia in L.A.
