A rep for Sony Pictures Television confirms to The Hollywood Reporter that Giancarlo Esposito will be guest starring as Gilbert, a business associate of Pierce’s extremely crabby father, as first reported by New York Magazine.
Esposito currently appears on Once Upon a Time as crooked reporter Sidney Glass and the Magic Mirror. We recently discovered that his character was also once the Genie in the lamp.

Fans will also remember him as Breaking Bad’s Gus who [SPOILER!] was remarkably able to make his character’s death both stylish and horrifying at the same time.
NBC has yet to announce a return date for Community since its benching last December, though production continues on the remainder of Season 3.
