Covert Affairs is headed to Sweden for its season-ending episode and there are sure to be fireworks.
It was a matter of time before CIA field operative Annie Walker (Piper Perabo) would pull sister Danielle (Anne Dudek) — now knowledgeable about her sister’s real occupation — into the mix, and it isn’t deliberate. While the two are vacationing in Stockholm, work seems to find its way to Annie, who is tasked to courier a package to a gala for the CIA. But Danielle is mistaken for Annie at the event and as one can imagine, their lives are in jeopardy.
That’s not all that’s going on in the finale. Last week’s episode saw blind tech guy Auggie (Christopher Gorham) going through romantic hardships with Parker (Devin Kelley) leaving for her Peace Corps mission. In an exclusive scene from next week’s season finale, Danielle points out how just how close Annie is to Auggie (and how lucky she is), alluding to the idea that maybe they’re ready to take it to the next step.
Covert Affairs finishes its second season Dec. 6 at 10 p.m. on USA Network. Rena Sofer, Gregory Itzin and Joakim Natterqvis guest star in “Letter Never Sent.”
that will change the life of the series forever,” co-creator Matt Corman tells THR.”]
