Want more Thor? Look no further than Covert Affairs.
One of the film’s actresses Jaimie Alexander, will recur in the upcoming season of the USA drama for at least three episodes, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. In addition, character actor Peter Stormare (Fargo) has booked a guest spot in one of the episodes.
Alexander will play new tech Reva Kline, described as an attractive brunette in her thirties, who was the youngest person to ever land a project in the CIA’s Directorate of Science & Technology. Reva’s inability to socialize with others presents a challenge for CIA agent Annie Walker (Piper Perabo) when the two are forced to work with each other.
Stormare has landed the role of Max Kupala, an officer in the Belarusian Secret Police in the seventh episode airing July 12.
In the hour, Annie and Reva are kidnapped on the Poland-Belarus border. And guess who’s leading the charge? As the leader of the kidnapping team, Stormare’s Max, described as cunning and professional, hopes to extract a ransom out of the United States in return for Annie and Reva’s safe return.
Alexander, repped by WME and James/Levy Management, recently finished a recurring role on Nurse Jackie; she has also appeared in Kyle XY and Bones. Stormare, who has 2012’s Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters in the wings, is repped by ICM and The Collective.
