Passion and politics threaten the peace and an epic romance ignites between a human girl and an alien boy when he and eight others of his kind (The Orion 9) are integrated into a suburban high school ten years after they and hundreds of others landed on Earth and were immediately consigned to an internment camp where they’ve been imprisoned ever since.
The CW is making some changes to its midseason schedule.
Hart of Dixie will have an extended break after returning Jan. 13, leaving its Monday home for Fridays beginning March 21. Currently in its third season, the Rachel Bilson drama will lead out of back-to-back episodes of improv comedy series Whose Line Is It Anyway?, which will air Fridays at 8 p.m. — forgoing a summer run.

Struggling sophomore drama Beauty and the Beast will still remain on The CW’s schedule, airing in its Monday at 9 p.m. home from Feb. 17 to March 10 before going off the schedule for an undetermined period of time. Taking its place on the schedule beginning March 17 will be freshman drama The Tomorrow People, which will continue to air in its post-Arrow slot on Wednesdays starting Jan. 15 before making the move.
The CW also set premiere dates for two midseason dramas, Star-Crossed and The 100. Star-Crossed, starring Aimee Teegarden and Matt Lanter, will premiere Feb. 17 at 8 p.m., while the dystopian The 100, starring Marie Avgeropoulos and Thomas McDonell, will debut in the post-Arrow slot starting March 19.
The Tuesday and Thursday lineups will remain unchanged, the latter a positive sign for rookie period drama Reign.
