Absolutely gorgeous (click on image for larger version). The CW was in the tough position of entering the vampire market after “Twilight” and “True Blood.” They went for a subtle approach (I know, the CW!) with a cool composition that sets up the love triangle and hints at vampire lore by having the actors lie corpse-like on the thick grass — and in a symbolic position (they’re forming a cross, get it?). Vampire stories merge sex and death; this hypnotic poster captures both sentiments without being obvious about it.The best ad of the fall (which makes it two years in a row for the CW).
