ITV Studios-owned Leftfield Entertainment has promoted David George.
The head of programming and longtime producer has been promoted to president of the reality banner. George has been with the company since 2010, exec producing hits including History’s Pawn Stars and Bravo’s Blood Sweat & Heels. He’ll continue to report to Leftfield Entertainment CEO Brent Montgomery.
In his new post, George will oversee all development, programming and production at Leftfield Pictures, and have creative involvement in Leftfield Entertainment companies Loud TV (upcoming Tiny House Nation) and Outpost Entertainment (joint venture with veteran producer Jodi Flynn).

“The best way I’ve found at Leftfield to create hit shows and forge a strong business is by building a stellar team,” Montgomery said Monday. “David George is a masterful producer whose talents extend from the creative to the commercial — there’s no one I’d rather have next to me in the trenches. This promotion is so well deserved and I am confident that David will successfully shepherd Leftfield Pictures through its next exciting chapter, as we’re just getting started.”
Added George: “I’ve been blessed to be a part of Leftfield’s growth over the last four-plus years as the company expanded from just a few series to hundreds of hours of programming. Not only have I been allowed to take risks in developing and producing great shows, I’ve gotten to work with and learn from some of the best producers and executives in our business. We will continue to deliver great work for our partners and push the bar creatively across all genres, whether reality, live programming or even scripted. As the market evolves, so will Leftfield.”
Before Leftfield, George was a senior exec at MTV, where he exec produced TRL, The Video Music Awards, Pranked and Parental Control.
ITV Studios acquired 80 percent of Leftfield for $360 million in May.
