Three more actors have come aboard Discovery Channel’s scripted miniseries about the history of Harley-Davidson.
Daniel Coonan, Annie Read and Essa O’Shea have joined Harley and the Davidsons, which will tell the story of the birth of the iconic Harley-Davidson brand that launched in 1903 by two friends from Milwaukee: William Harley (Robert Aramayo) and Arthur Davidson (Michiel Huisman).
Coonan will play William “Big Bill” Davidson, brother to Arthur and Walter Davidson. Coonan, whose credits include NBC’s Law & Order and BBC’s EastEnders, has a background in theater with stage experience in the National Theatre in London and the West End.
Read will portray Caroline Jacthuber, who eventually becomes Bill Harley’s wife. Her most recent TV appearances include MTV’s Awkward and Lifetime’s The Haunted Life.
Newcomer O’Shea is set to play Clara Davidson, the wife of Arthur Davidson.
The cast also includes Bug Hall (The Little Rascals), Stephen Rider (Daredevil) and Jessica Camacho (Sleepy Hollow).
Harley and the Davidsons, from Raw Television, begins production this month. Three two-hour installments will air later this year.
