BBC America keeps teasing out bits from the upcoming season of Doctor Who.
On the heels of a new promotional still for its Sept. 19 return, the network has also released a new trailer — notably featuring several clips from the episode starring Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams.
“She is a brand new character. She is not someone from the Doctor’s past,” showrunner Steven Moffat recently told press at the Television Critics Association summer press tour. “It’s a great part and she’s terrific in it. It will develop in unexpected ways. Once you see what she’s up to in the show, you’ll appreciate what a clever [idea that was]. It’s a significant role. We’re not throwing her away.”
The rest of the trailer features a slew of expectedly odd looking Doctor foes — and, of course, lots of Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman.
