It’s for you, Stephen.
GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump will appear Tuesday on CBS’ The Late Show With Stephen Colbert — or, at least his voice will. The billionaire businessman tweeted — three times — that he would be a part of the show, joining by phone.
This marks the first time a guest has called into Colbert’s show. Trump was not pre-scheduled to be a part of the episode. The two men are set to chat at the top of the program.
Trump is still riding high from his first Republican primary victory in New Hampshire, which occurred last week.
According to a CNN/ORC South Carolina poll released Tuesday, Trump is ahead of the pack with 38 percent among those likely to vote in the state’s primary on Saturday. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) is second in the poll with 22 percent, followed by Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) with 14 percent.
Will be interviewed by @StephenAtHome tonight by phone- a late show first @CBS @colbertlateshow. Enjoy! #Colbert #LSSC
