Things are heating up in the season-five trailer for Downton Abbey, and we’re not solely referring to the actual fire.
The newly released trailer reveals lots of intriguing plot twists for the upcoming season, including Tom Branson’s (Allen Leech) smooch, Lady Mary Crawley’s (Michelle Dockery) wistful gaze and Jimmy Kent’s (Ed Speleers) romp in bed.
“Our grandchild is about to be stolen from us forever,” the Earl of Grantham (Hugh Bonneville) says ominously.
Perhaps the biggest mystery is whether Downton will be destroyed in what appears to be a devastating fire.
