The 2018 Emmy nominations have been unveiled, with shows including the most-nominated Game of Thrones (22) and newcomer Barry (13 noms) vying for their first or yet another Emmy statuette.
The Crown, Game of Thrones, The Handmaid’s Tale, Stranger Things, The Americans, This Is Us and Westworld all scored Emmy nominations in the best drama series category. Meanwhile, Atlanta, Barry, Black-ish, Curb Your Enthusiasm, GLOW, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Silicon Valley and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt are all up for best comedy.
Many nominated in the acting categories also are up for their very first Emmy. Killing Eve‘s Sandra Oh received her first nomination for lead actress in a drama series. The nomination also made her the first woman of Asian descent nominated in that category. And while Jason Bateman is no stranger to the comedy categories, this will be his first nomination in a drama series, for Netflix’s Ozark.
If you aren’t one of the 23,000 members of the Television Academy, you can still cast your vote in The Hollywood Reporter‘s poll for who you think should win.
The 70th annual Primetime Emmys are set to air on NBC on Sept. 17 from The Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles. Saturday Night Live‘s Colin Jost and Michael Che will serve as co-hosts.
Vote below for who you think should win the best drama, best comedy and best limited series categories, as well as the best actors and actresses in the drama, comedy and limited series categories.
