Those who watch Empire already know Fox’s hit drama offers some of the most memorable fashion moments on the small screen (we see you, Cookie Lyon), and now you can get in on the sartorial action, too.
Empire is partnering with Saks Fifth Avenue to bring the show’s head-turning outfits to life with curated collections that reflect its signature style, with looks inspired by Lucious Lyon (played by Terrence Howard), Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray), Jamal (Jussie Smollett), Andre (Trai Byers) and, of course, Cookie (Taraji P. Henson).

The exclusive looks will include women’s ready-to-wear from Cushnie et Ochs (a label most recently seen on Henson at the Fox All-Star Party at TCA), men’s and women’s footwear from Jimmy Choo, fine jewelry from Alexis Bittar, and handbags and accessories from MCM. Each designer’s items will be available at Saks Fifth Avenue stores nationwide and saks.com this fall.
“The influence Empire has had on so many aspects of popular culture proves it has the ingredients to become a stand-alone fashion brand,” said Jeffrey Godsick, president of Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products, in a statement.

Marc Metrick, president of Saks Fifth Avenue, added, “The lines between fashion and entertainment are intersecting. Harnessing this moment is a key underpinning to our strategy as it brings energy and uniqueness to the shopping experience at Saks.” Actor Byers also will be featured on the cover of Saks Fifth Avenue’s fall magalog.
The Empire-themed collections will be displayed in the windows of Saks’ New York and Beverly Hills locations from Sept. 10 to Oct. 7, just in time for the return of Empire‘s second season Sept. 23.
