After eight seasons, HBO’s comedy series Entourage came to an end Sunday night.
The episode ended with life-changing moments for several characters.
In the finale, Ari (Jeremy Piven) quits his job to reunite with his estranged wife (Perrey Reeves), Eric (Kevin Connolly) makes up with a pregnant Sloan (Emmanuelle Chriqui) and Vince (Adrian Grenier) heads to Paris to get married.
For his part, Grenier tweeted a message relaying his satisfaction with the episode: “#entourage final episode tonight. If I could do it all again, I wouldn’t change a thing.”
Viewers, meanwhile, had mixed reactions. Several also expressed hope that the long-rumored movie will come to fruition. (Connolly recently told The Hollywood Reporter that the finale was written in a way to “tee up” a movie.)
Among the viewer tweets:

This Entourage finale is written and acted like a high school drama play based on the television show Entourage. Hysterical.

Absolutely speechless from the series finale of Entourage
I’m totally unhappy with this whole finale. It was a lame ep for Entourage, lame for a series finale, it was problematic all around.
