Legendary tennis player Billie Jean King introduced Andra Day at the 2016 ESPY Awards, who sang “Rearview” during the show’s “In Memoriam” segment on Wednesday night.
The segment began with King honoring college basketball coach Pat Summitt, who died in June at age 64 after battling Alzheimer’s. Also remembered were Frank Gifford, Yogi Berra, Dave Mirra, Meadowlark Lemon and more famous figures from the sports world.
WWE star John Cena hosted the 2016 ESPYs, which aired on ABC from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The awards show also remembered Muhammad Ali, with a tribute from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Chance the Rapper.
