Former American Idol contestant Fantasia has had her share of controversy since she appeared on the Fox competition series. Not only did she release a shocking memoir, revealing that she was illiterate, but she had survived a suicide attempt and is now pregnant, reportedly with the child of a married man. Additionally, her recently announced pregnancy could threaten her status as the star of the biographical film Mahalia! about legendary gospel singer Mahalia Jackson.

So, she should have plenty to say to clear up the truth from rumors and the story from scandal.
The Wendy Williams Show announced that Fantasia will be a surprise guest on the show on Tuesday.

Fantasia, whose full name is Fantasia Barrino, will call into the show to talk about her pregnancy and its effect, if any, on the upcoming biopic. Fantasia’s due date, which in December, has already reportedly pushed back filming for the project, which is currently helmed by Euzhan Palcy.
Fantasia announced her pregnancy at a concert back in August. While she did not officially say who the father was at that time, many believe it is Antwaun Cook, a married man she has been dating on and off for more than a year.

A year ago, in August 2010, a North Carolina woman filed for divorce, alleging that her husband, Cook, had engaged in an affair with Barrino. The affair allegedly led to her husband becoming more and more withdrawn from their marriage. The lawsuit references a sex tape that Barrino allegedly made with Cook.
That same month, Fantasia was hospitalized for an overdose of aspirin and a sleep aid. She later said that her suicide attempt was a result of the increased pressure from the media attention due to the alleged sex tape and affair scandal.
The other guests on Tuesdays show include Malcolm-Jamal Warner and Rev. Al Sharpton who will talk about his new MSNBC show, PolitcsNation.
