Fargo breakout Allison Tolman is continuing her massive guest star tour.
Tolman has been tapped to guest star on Amazon’s Shawn Ryan drama Mad Dogs, The Hollywood Reporter has learned, with The Game‘s Coby Bell also boarding the series in a recurring role.
Mad Dogs, from Sony Pictures Television, centers on four former frat brothers who travel to Belize for a reunion but their luxury vacation interrupted by a series of wild events that exposes dark secrets, deception and murder.
Tolman will play Rochelle in an episode. She’s a junior staffer in Belize’s U.S. embassy who feels she can accomplish anything. She’s driven but self-aware and has a vulnerable side. The role marks her latest guest gig following Fox’s The Mindy Project, HBO’s Hello Ladies movie and FX’s Archer. She’s repped by UTA and Odenkirk Provissiero.
Bell, meanwhile, will recur as Aaron, a positive goal-oriented CIA agent who will stop at nothing to accomplish a task. His credits include Third Watch and Burn Notice. He’s with Innovative Artists and Stark Management.
Based on the U.K. series, Mad Dogs was previously developed at FX before landing a series order at Amazon. Cris Cole, who created the original series, penned the script and exec produces alongside Ryan, via the latter’s overall deal with SPT. The series is currently filming in Puerto Rico ahead of its expected 2016 premiere. Ben Chaplin, Michael Imperioli, Billy Zane, Steve Zahn and Romany Malco star.
