We are just hours away from the superhero brawl of the year.
In one corner we’ve got the young gun, The Flash (Grant Gustin). In the other corner, we’ve got the tried and true vigilante-turned-hero Arrow (Stephen Amell).
Before those red and green fists start flying, let’s take a look at why each of these heroes just might win the day.
Why Arrow could win: He has experience, training and grit on his side. This is a man who has taken on the scum of Starling City and defeated a miraku-crazed Slade Wilson two times. Barry is still a boy, but Ollie is a man who has been to hell and back. And look at who his friends are. Not only does he have computer genius Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), he’s also got a whole roster of badasses he can call in for reinforcements. We love you Cisco (Carlos Valdes), but you ain’t taking down Diggle (David Ramsey). Or Roy (Colton Haynes). Or even newly minted badass Laurel (Katie Cassidy). Also there’s the fact that nobody actually stays dead on this show. If you think you’ve killed Ollie, chances are he’ll be back coming after you in a year or two.

Why The Flash could win: One word: SUPERPOWERS. This is a guy who can literally run circles around Oliver 100 times before he’s had a chance to draw his bow. Seriously. Just create a tornado that incapacitates Oliver. Or carry him to that prison you keep underneath S.T.A.R. Labs. Not only that, Barry is a genius … who hangs out with a bunch of other geniuses. If these guys put their heads together, they should be able to invent some sort of weapon that can take down even Ollie. Plus, Barry routinely goes up against metahumans with powers that put Oliver’s training to shame.
