ABC Family is adding a new foster kid to The Fosters.
High School Musical alum Chris Warren has boarded the third-season drama, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Warren will recur on the drama about a lesbian couple (Teri Polo and Sherri Saum) and their biological and adopted children from executive producers Peter Paige and Bradley Bredeweg. He’ll portray Ty, an attractive man who has aged out of the foster system who becomes separated from his younger brother, AJ Switched at Birth‘s Tom Williamson).
For Warren, The Fosters becomes his latest credit following roles in MTV’s The Hard Times of RJ Berger, The Inbetweeners, Good Luck Charlie and the High School Musical franchise, where he played Zeke. He’s repped by Innovative and Luber Roklin.
