This is how the world ends, not with a bang, but with Homer Simpson chanting “Where’s my burrito?”

FXX is teasing its nearly limitless — 552 episodes — chronological marathon of The Simpsons with a post-apocalyptic ad showing the scraps of humanity dealing with the crush of content from the long-running Fox cartoon.

STORY FXX Readies ‘Simpsons’ Roll Out

In the clip, entranced viewers are seen glued to television screens while civilization crumbles around them, complete with wrecked vehicles, scorched city streets and animals running amok.

FXX landed the deal for The Simpsons last November, and the marathon will begin on Aug. 21 and run through Sept. 1.
