More than 10,000 people answered a casting call for the HBO show’s Spanish shoot — and they did it in just 24 hours. Spanish production company Fresco Film Services, which is providing production services, posted on its Facebook page that it would attempt to respond to all of the hopefuls by email.
The shoot in Spain has long been rumored, and HBO and the Spanish government made it official last week. Fans of the George R.R. Martin book series speculate the country will double for Dorne.
A leaked casting breakdown supports that idea, with the casting call indicating members of Prince Oberyn’s (Pedro Pascal) Dornish family will be featured in the new season.
