The race for the throne is heating up.
HBO has released a new trailer for the upcoming seventh season of Game of Thrones, which is set to premiere July 16.
Set to the song “Sit Down” by James, the minute-and-a-half-long clip centers on the trio vying for the crown: Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey).
The promo hints at the battle of fire and ice to come in the series as Daenerys and her dragons inch toward Westeros and the Night King’s army descends from Beyond the Wall.
