“George R.R. Martin meets Chris Martin. What could go wrong?” asks Emilia Clarke (Daenerys) in Game of Thrones: The Musical. As it turns out, a lot.
Shot for NBC’s Red Nose Day charity broadcast, Game of Thrones: The Musical features a slew of Thrones castmembers as well as Coldplay, who wrote songs for the mockumentary style sketch combining key elements from the show — from incest to murder —but with a comedic twist.
Among the highlights: Kit Harington (Jon Snow) sings about Wildlings (and oral sex) to the tune of “Wild Thing,” Peter Dinklage (Tyrion) bragging about how he’s managed to stay alive on the show, and the whole crew taking on season three’s disturbing Red Wedding.
