Glenn Beck Leaving Fox News Is a ‘Huge Victory’ for Media Watchdog Group
Beck’s Restoring Courage event will be shown live from Israel in August.
A few documentaries will be announced shortly.
Beck’s last hour on Fox News was met with mixed reviews by critics.
“In spite of his sometimes rocky relationship with Fox News, Mr. Beck’s ratings success will be difficult to repeat,” The New York Times‘ Brian Stelter wrote. “Although Mr. Beck’s daily ratings have diminished somewhat this year, he remains a remarkably influential figure, making his departure from Fox after two and a half years all the more interesting.”
“Glenn Beck’s last hour on Fox News… was relatively quiet, banal and kind of pathetic,” wrote David Zurawik in the Baltimore Sun.
