Bridesmaids funnyman Ben Falcone is headed for some therapy on Go On.
Falcone will be causing trouble when he comes into the fold on NBC’s rookie comedy starring Chandler Bing himself, Matthew Perry, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.
Falcone will play Carlo, an unimposing but angry guest at Mr. K’s (Brett Gelman) dinner party who complicates sportscaster Ryan King’s (Perry) plans to help one of the group members. He will appear in episode 19 in the shooting order, but an airdate has not been determined.
He has a history with the Go On gang. Falcone, often seen with wife Melissa McCarthy on the big screen, appeared as Howard in Friends spinoff Joey — co-created by Go On showrunner/Friends vet Scott Silveri — for more than a dozen episodes.
Repped by CAA and Schiff Company, Falcone has appeared in Up All Night, Happy Endings and most recently What to Expect When You’re Expecting on big screen. He next appears in Identity Theft with McCarthy, with whom he also developed a comedy project at CBS.
Go On airs 9 p.m. Tuesdays on NBC.
