Freshman series Go On, Mistresses and Goodwin Games have added three well-known faces to their respective casts.
First, Men of a Certain Age‘s Penelope Ann Miller has joined ABC’s Mistresses, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
On the network’s racy summer soap starring Alyssa Milano, Yunjin Kim, Rochelle Aytes and Jes Macallan as four friends each on their own journey of self-discovery, Miller will recur as Sam’s (Erik Stocklin) mother on the series, who has no idea that her late husband had a romance with another woman (Kim). EW first reported the news.
Second, former Perfect Couples star Christine Woods has been tapped to join NBC comedy Go On, THR has confirmed.
Starring Matthew Perry as a guy coping with the loss of his wife with the help of a group therapy, Woods will play Ryan’s (Perry) late wife and first be seen early in the season through flashbacks and dream sequences. Zap2It first reported the news.
Third, Til Death’s Kat Foster has joined ABC’s Goodwin Games, THR has confirmed.
In Fox’s midseason comedy about a father who leaves his fortune to his three children (Becki Newton, Scott Foley and T.J. Miller), Foster will board the show as a series regular, playing Lucinda, the childhood sweetheart to Foley’s character. She replaces Felisha Terrell, who played the role in the pilot. TV Line first reported the news.
Go On premieres Aug. 8 on NBC; Mistresses has yet to be scheduled and Goodwin Games is set for midseason.
