The producer of acclaimed documentaries John Lewis: Good Trouble and The Way I See It is going into business with Industrial Media.
Trilogy Films, led by Dawn Porter, has signed an overall deal with the independent production group specializing in unscripted content, becoming the sixth company to partner with Industrial. Under the deal, Porter and Trilogy Films will continue developing documentary film and nonfiction TV projects.

We are thrilled and grateful that Dawn saw fit to select Industrial Media as her home studio to support her ambitious plans. We look forward to working closely with Dawn and the entire Trilogy Films team.”

Trilogy Films joins The Intellectual Property Corporation, Sharp Entertainment, B17 Entertainment, R.J. Cutler’s This Machine and 19 Entertainment under the Industrial Media umbrella. In addition to Good Trouble and The Way I See It, about former White House photographer Pete Souza, Trilogy’s slate includes a series about mental health with Oprah Winfrey and Britain’s Prince Harry for Apple TV+ and documentaries Bobby Kennedy for President, Trapped and Gideon’s Army, along with National Geographic’s forthcoming Red Summer, about the 1921 Tulsa massacre.
Porter is also an executive producer of PBS’ current Independent Lens series Philly D.A.
