The first trailer for the new season The Good Wife has debuted on the web.
In it, Alicia (Julianna Margulies) is hounded by a political reporter (Kristin Chenoweth) tasked with investigating the truth behind her marriage to embattled politician Peter (Chris Noth). Chenoweth’s alter-ego gets straight to the point: “Why do you stay with your husband?”
“I’m committed to a marriage. I don’t like breaking commitments,” Alicia fires back.

“But he broke his commitment to you.”
“Yes, but I won’t break my commitment to him.”
Who’s ready for the next round?
Other developments at Lockhart Gardner: Will’s (Josh Charles) suspension is also being lifted when The Good Wife returns next month and Kalinda’s (Archie Panjabi) mysterious/dangerous husband (Marc Warren) finally makes his big debut. Judging from the fight scenes, they won’t be missing a beat.
