Nine months after exiting All3Media as CEO, Greg Lipstone has a new gig.
Lipstone has joined Ben Silverman and Howard T. Owens’ Propagate as president. In his new role, he will help the Los Angeles-based global indie studio with its plans to expand worldwide production, distribution and digital business, including forming an IP incubation hub. The company plans to launch business units in Latin America, Asia, India and the Middle East, partnering with local production companies to develop, produce and distribute original formats, develop new ones and target potential acquisitions.
“Greg’s successful career as a packaging agent combined with his more recent experience on the production side, makes him an ideal executive to oversee Propagate’s day-to-day operations,” Silverman and Owens said Monday in a joint statement. “As we look to expand our global production imprint and continue to launch new creative ventures, his relationships, creative instincts, business acumen and understanding of international markets will make him a huge asset.”
With the hire, Lipstone reunites with Propagate co-CEOs Silverman and Owens after working with the duo for years during his time at WME, which included heading its TV department.

In just a few short years their pioneering approach to media and technology has positioned Propagate to become one of the top global providers of premium content for all platforms around the world,” Lipstone said.
Lipstone exited All3Media America in January after serving as CEO of the unscripted-focused company since 2015. He previously worked with All3Media during his tenure as an unscripted agent and founding partner at ICM, having previously repped the company during his time at WME. (Former National Geographic channels programming president Tim Pastore replaced Lipstone as CEO at All3Media earlier this month.)
During Lipstone’s time at All3Media, he oversaw day-to-day operations of the company as well as the companies under its corporate umbrella, including Studio Lambert (Undercover Boss) and Maverick (Chrisley Knows Best). His credits there included United Shades of America, which won an Emmy last week.
Lipstone arrives at Propagate with a wealth of experience and relationships in the unscripted world, with former clients including LMNO Productions, Original Media and more. He packaged scripted and unscripted hits including Dancing With the Stars, The Office, Hell’s Kitchen, Undercover Boss, Ugly Betty, Top Gear, Last Comic Standing and more.
Owens and Silverman founded Propagate in 2015. The company’s credits include The CW’s Charmed reboot, Apple’s Planet of the Apps, Amazon’s Lore and CBS’ Blood and Treasure, among others. The A+E Networks-backed company recently secured additional funding from global merchant bank Raine Group. Owens is founding partner and co-CEO, while Silverman serves as co-CEO and chairman.
