Grey’s Anatomy, ABC’s No. 1 drama of the 2015-16 broadcast season, returns Thursday and will see the action at Grey Sloan Memorial pick up immediately after Owen and Amelia’s wedding — but not everyone will be as happy as the newlyweds.
The season-13 premiere will find Alex (Justin Chambers) on the hot seat for beating the crap out of Andrew DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti) over what he thought was a tryst with Jo (Camilla Luddington).
In a clip from the episode, titled “Undo,” Alex admits he went crazy and insists BFF Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) review DeLuca’s scans to make sure he’ll be OK after the severe beat down. Perhaps what’s more troubling than DeLuca’s condition is the fact that Alex and Meredith appear to be covering up just what happened to their colleague as Alex refuses to talk to anyone until he knows how bad DeLuca is. Oh, and Ben (Jason George) already has connected the dots between Alex and DeLuca.
