Happy Endings duo Josh Bycel and Jonathan Fener are staying put at Universal Television.
The duo have inked a new two-year deal with the Universal Television, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Under the pact, the pair will join the studio’s straight-to-series 13-episode comedy Telenovela, starring Eva Longoria, as executive producers.
Bycel and Fener most recently executive produced NBC’s Amy Poehler-produced comedy pilot Old Soul, which did not move forward. Their credits include co-exec producing ABC’s Happy Endings and Fox’s American Dad.
Bycel previously served as a showrunner on Scrubs, a co-EP on Pysch and a co-EP on American Dad.
Fener and Bycel are repped by UTA and Jared Levine at Morris Yorn.
