Netflix is adding an international best-selling author to its roster.
Author Harlan Coben has signed a multiple-year overall deal with the streaming giant. Under the terms of the pact, Coben will adapt 14 of his existing 30 titles as well as future projects, including his upcoming novel Run Away, into English- and foreign-language series and films for Netflix’s worldwide platforms. Coben will serve as an exec producer on all of his projects.
The deal extends Coben’s relationship with Netflix after Michael C. Hall starrer Safe, which the author created and exec produced. The series, a co-production with Canal Plus and Netflix, launched in May to mixed reviews.
