Updated 2:40 p.m.: Incurable is a drama, not a comedy. This story has been amended to reflect the change.
HBO is looking for its own supernatural show.
The premium cable network has put into development drama Incurable, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Incurable is described as a drama centering on a support group for people with supernatural problems. Will Strouse — who previously developed scripts for FX and CBS Television Studios — will pen the script and exec produce alongside Six Feet Under and The Newsroom alum Alan Poul, who will direct the pilot should the drama move forward.

Strouse, the son of composer Charles Strouse, is repped by UTA. Poul, who also has Patricia Clarkson drama Elisabeth set up at HBO, is with WME and Felker Toczek.
