Charles Sykes/Invision/APMTV is rounding out the cast of its Victoria Justice drama pilot Eye Candy.
Olesya Rulin, Justin Martin, Harvey Guillen and Lilan Bowden have joined the drama based on RL Stine‘s best-seller of the same name.
Eye Candy is described as a cyber-thriller based on the book from the Goosebumps‘ creator. Justice will play Lindy, a tech genius who, convinced by her roommate to begin online dating, begins to suspect that one of her mysterious suitors may be a deadly cyber stalker. When her friends at the elusive cyber-police uncover a potential serial killer in Manhattan, all signs point to one of Lindy’s dates. Teaming with a band of hackers, Lindy works to solve the murders while unleashing her own style of justice on the streets of New York City.

Rulin (High School Musical, Greek) will play Ann-Marie Halliday, Lindy’s roommate and best friend, who convinces her to sign up for online dating — setting into motion the mystery that will drive Lindy to discover a new danger in her life. Repped by Talent Works and Roar, Rulin played Kelsi in both High School Musical and its sequel and returns to the network following a two-episode run on Underemployed.
Martin (Flight, Blue Bloods) will play Tyrone Hall, an ex-juvenile delinquent turned techie who works with an underground cyber crime unit. He and Juan (Huge’s Guillen) are a team, constantly bouncing ideas off each other and providing comic relief. Martin is with CAA and Ellen Meyer Management; Guillen is with the Osbring Agency and Michael Einfeld Management.
Bowden (Suburgatory) is set as Page Austin, a young hacker trying to make a name for herself as a woman in the male-dominated cyber crime unit. She’s repped by Sovereign Talent Group and Hansen Management.
Emmy Grinwis will pen the script and co-executive produce the drama. Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity) will executive produce the drama via his Blumhouse Productions banner alongside Catherine Hardwicke (Thirteen), who will direct. Yvonne Bernard and Beth Elise Hawk are also on board as EPs.
