On Thursday night, Hillary Clinton made her second appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show since announcing her presidential candidacy. Fallon pointed out that her first appearance was the night of the second Republican debate and her most recent appearance was the night of the sixth Republican debate.
“I think you’re dodging these debates,” Fallon said of the curious timing of her appearances. “You’ll do anything to not watch the Republican debates.”
Clinton admitted she was actually trying to avoid having to watch the Republican debates, but she said while she’s often busy campaigning and can’t watch the debates live, she tries to catch up later, sometimes watching with her husband.
Fallon asked if the former president watches the debates like a football coach would watch a game, standing up and criticizing the politicians’ technique.

Clinton conceded that was pretty close to Bill Clinton’s approach. “He does have a running commentary,” she said. “We both do: ‘Can you believe what he just said? What does that mean? I have no idea.’ Yeah, we have an ongoing dialogue about it.”
Fallon suggested that she have a drinking game in which every time one of the Republican candidates says her name, she takes a shot. But Clinton thought that might be dangerous.
“I don’t think I’d make it past the first half-hour,” she said.

Speaking of watching (or not watching) the Republican candidates, Clinton got laughs from the audience when she quickly told Fallon she didn’t watch his interview with Donald Trump earlier this week.
“He’s a lot more obsessed with me than I am with him,” Clinton said.
When asked if she was intimidated by Trump, Clinton offered a concise, “No.”
Fallon did, however, give Hillary Clinton the same sort of mock job interview he gave Trump earlier in the week. There were some pretty standard job-interview questions and answers: “Tell us about yourself” (read: Why are you qualified for this job?), “Why do you want this job?” “What are your strengths?” and “Describe yourself in two words.”
But there were some less conventional exchanges. When asked how she “heard about the position,” Clinton said, “Fourth-grade social studies.”
And Fallon asked, “Can you type?” Clinton said she could but then went on a tangent about her frustrations with autocorrect when typing on her phone, leading Fallon to ask her to stay focused on the interview.
The two also showed off their Snapchat abilities.
