Pawn Stars is getting a spinoff, sort of.
History Channel has ordered 10 episodes of Pawnography, a half-hour game show based on the popular docuseries, the network announced Wednesday.
Pawnography, from Leftfield Pictures, will be taped in front of a studio audience, with production starting next month in Las Vegas. History will launch the series in the summer.
In each episode, contestants will compete against each other and castmembers from Pawn Stars in three rounds of trivia questions that increase in difficulty to win money and items from the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop.
Russ McCarroll, Zachary Behr and Elaine Frontain Bryant are executive producers, along with Brent Montgomery, David George, Shawn Witt and Michael Binkow.
