Call it the Homeland effect.
ABC has given script orders to a terrorism drama from House alum Pamela Davis, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.
Double Felix revolves around a family man who after suffering from a traumatic brain injury attempts to regain his memory and discovers he may have been part of a domestic terrorist plot.
Davis, a writer-producer on USA Network’s Common Law, will pen the script and executive produce the ABC Studios project alongside Junction Entertainment.
The project comes a month after Showtime’s Homeland picked up nine Emmy nominations including for best drama series, with terror-themed projects continuing to be a hot draw this development season.
