
Battle Royale Blu-Ray Split – H 2012
TOKYO – Hulu Japan announced Wednesday that it has added six more domestic film companies to its roster of content providers, to provide both contemporary and classic movies for its video streaming service.
The full list of new partners is: Asmik Ace, Kadokawa Pictures, Shochi, Toei, Nikkatsu and AMG Entertainment.
The hundreds of new tiltes will include One Missed Call, Battle Royale and Yamato, as well as classic movies from the likes of Akira Kurosawa and Yasujiro Ozu.
Earlier this month, Hulu’s U.S. operations announced a 40 percent rise in revenue to $420 million and growth in subscribers to its premium service to more 1.5 million.
Hulu Japan is yet to release figures for subscriber numbers.
