Entertainment One and Hulu have signed a multiseries streaming deal that includes shows like the Canadian thriller Cardinal and the comedy Gap Year.
In all, 240 hours of series content will stream exclusively on Hulu as part of the licensing pact. Other seasons included in the deal are Welcome to Sweden, The Dating Guy, the thriller Matador from executive producer Robert Rodriguez and the medical drama Saving Hope.
“eOne has had an incredible experience working with Hulu and I’m thrilled to broaden our partnership to include Cardinal and Gap Year, two strong U.S. premieres along with other quality series,” Joey Sabella, head of U.S. and Latin America for eOne Television, said in a statement.
Hulu has previously streamed Canadian series like The Book of Negroes and has a current hit in the Canadian-shot series The Handmaid’s Tale, an adaptation of the novel by Margaret Atwood.
