ICM Partners has named partner Mark Gordon its head of international scripted television, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. He will relocate to the agency’s London office for the newly created role.
“With the growing importance and complexity of the international marketplace, we made a strategic decision to expand our presence in scripted television to provide a wider range of services to our clients in the U.K. and other international territories,” the ICM Partners board said in a joint statement. “Mark is a highly regarded senior packaging agent with deep relationships with studios, networks and talent and is uniquely qualified to take on this significant role.”
Along with Michael Kagan, who from Los Angeles oversees the domestic and international nonscripted TV business, Gordon will work closely with Pippa Lambert and the other London-based agents. Gordon began his career at Broder Webb Chervin Silbermann in 2002 and became an agent there in 2005, a year before BWCS was acquired by ICM. The THR Next Gen alumnus was part of ICM Partners’ inaugural partnership class when it completed its management buyout in May 2012 and was promoted to lead the TV literary department a year later.
