Irwin Entertainment is adding to its executive team.
Jenny Ramirez has been named the company’s new senior vp development, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Ramirez comes to Irwin from CORE Media Group, where she was vp development and production. During her tenure, she developed and produced reality projects for Bravo, Lifetime, TruTV and FYI. She served as an executive producer on Lifetime’s Preach and co-exec producer on Bravo’s Euros of Hollywood, Lifetime’s Prison Wives Club and Pop’s Sing It On.
Prior to joining CORE, Ramirez was director of development at FremantleMedia, where she developed projects for A&E, Syfy and ABC.
“Jenny’s background in development and production, and her successful track record as a producer, make her a valuable addition to our team as we expand our scripted and non-scripted slate,” said founder John Irwin in a statement.
Irwin Entertainment’s slate includes reality series Couples Therapy, the recently announced spinoff Family Therapy and NFL star Ray Lewis‘ Spike project, Coaching Bad. The company has also produced specials for comedians such as Kevin Hart and Patton Oswalt, as well as New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly and Blake Shelton’s Not So Family Christmas.
