Is Liv (Rose McIver) and Ravi’s (Rahul Kohli) friendship headed for disaster?
When iZombie returns this fall for season two, the zombie trying to live a normal life as a coroner’s assistant will find her hunger for brains at an all-time high. Not only will she feed on a frat boy’s gray matter (get ready for all the bro jokes) and a grumpy old man’s, she’ll also be fiending for a piece of her best friend’s cerebellum.
In the promo for The CW series’ sophomore season, Liv practically begs Ravi “for a piece of [his] brain right now,” although that could just be referring to her hunger for answers about the zombie “cure” Ravi made that she used on her ex Major (Robert Buckley) in the season one finale.

Liv used the other half of the only dose of the cure on zombie mob boss Blaine (David Anders), although he’s still looking pretty undead in the short glimpse of him shown in the promo, teasing Liv about her taste for brains.
At Comic-Con, executive producer Rob Thomas revealed that Liv is going to be forced to work with Blaine when they both realize that all the zombies are mysteriously disappearing.
“The zombies on the offensive in season one are going to be on the defensive,” Thomas teased. “It will make strange bedfellows of Blaine and Liv, who are both concerned about the dwindling zombies in season two.”

Season two of iZombie premieres Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 9 p.m. on The CW.
